Field Trip to Bowler City

* Please make sure you arrive by 8:30 AM and make drop offs as prompt as possible. We       will be taking attendance, assigning partners, and using bathrooms before our bus departs.
* We will return by 2:30 P.M. and will have snack in school.
* No lunch is needed on tomorrow's trip to Bowler City -- pizza will be provided for lunch.
* Orange camp shirts on and sneakers for tomorrow's trip.

Swim Trip!

Swim Trip Thursday

Tomorrow is our swim trip to the Palisades Park Swim Club. Please take note of the following:

• Children must come dressed in swim suits, sunscreen already applied, and the orange camp shirt over the swim suit. Please bring a towel and a change of clothes in the orange drawstring bag --we will change at the pool.
• We will leave by 8:30 A.M. sharp -- late campers will not be able to meet us at the pool for safety/accountability and attendance purposes.
• No lunch needed - Pizza Day tomorrow.
• We will have cupcakes for snack at 2:30 PM

This week in camp 7/27-7/31

This week in camp is all about Our Hawaiian Paradise! 

This week we will be making grass skirts and leis, as well as having our own Hawaiian luau on Friday the 31st! 

We have decided do do a Hawaiian Pizza party and are asking parents to please contribute $5 for our party and extra snacks that day. Please hand in your $5 contributions to Ms. Frenzel, Ms. Hanna, or Ms. Marcela by Thursday the 30th this week.

POOL TOMORROW!

Camp Class News

• TOMORROW Thursday July 23rd will be a Pool Day and also a Pizza Day for the campers. Please make sure your children come dressed and ready for the pool day -- please have on your swimsuits upon arrival, sunscreen on, with the orange camp shirt over the swimsuits.
• We will leave by 8:30 A.M. sharp on Pool Days! Any campers coming late will not be able to meet us at the Palisades Park Swim Club for attendance accountability and safety issues.

DUE TO THE HEAT ADVISORY TOMORROW, THE TRIP TO STATEN ISLAND ZOO WILL BE CANCELLED.

Field Trip tomorrow to Staten Island Zoo

Attention parents, tomorrow is the field trip to the Staten Island Zoo!

Here are some helpful reminders to keep in mind for tomorrow's trip day:

• Please drop off by no later than 8:45 A.M. tomorrow
• We will require a brown bag lunch for tomorrow's trip (no containers or food that needs to be warmed up).
• Snack will be served when we return
• Orange camp shirts must be worn and sunscreen applied at home prior to drop off
• Comfortable shoes, as we will be doing some walking around the zoo
• Orange camp bags with a bottle of water to stay hydrated during our trip (you may also freeze a bottle overnight to ensure a nice cold drink!)

*Please make sure your campers arrive on time for this trip as we will be leaving at 8:45 sharp.

It's Friday!

What an exciting end to a fun-filled week! Even though our swim trip was cancelled today due to the rain, we still enjoyed a relaxing day with our friends and took the time to decorate our tie dye shirts for our Peace & Love Parade tomorrow!

We will be keeping the tie dye shirts in the classroom and wearing them tomorrow for our hippie parade.

No snack is needed tomorrow -- the ice cream truck will be coming by!

Ms. Frenzel will be on vacation next week, July 13th - July 17th, and will return to work the following Monday July 20th. Please direct any camp/classroom activities related questions to Ms. Hanna and Ms. Marcela who will be happy to assist you during my time off.
